Hitler and Spoken Word
In this image Hitler speaks to a crowd of enthralled Nazi stormtroopers and other followers at the Nazi Party’s headquarters in Munich. In the image you can see Hitler sitting at a table with a patterned table cloth, surrounded by many engaged supporters young and old. The image serves the purpose to show how many of the germans found something appealing in him. This coincides with the culture as well. The people saw something in him, therefore making his ideas spread and influence culture. -
Hitler Quote Poster
This poster is a quotation of Adolf Hitler describing events in Germany in the early 1930s. The poster depicts a red swastika and a blue star with a quote. This connects the theme of culture because Hitler calls on the people to follow and embrace the laws he is putting in place, therefore instilling his ideas for what he wants Germany to be like. -
Hitler Attending the Winter Olympics
This image is of Hitler at the Winter Olympics of 1936. You can see in the image that it appears that he is waving to the people in attendance. It looks to be snowing, with snow falling from the sky and the snow sitting on the garland hung on the balcony Hitler is currently standing on. He appears to be on a balcony, and traditionally only powerful world leaders or figures would appear on balconies. This shows that Hitler impacted much of the culture at the time, whether political or not. -
Hilter Branded Harmonica
This harmonica is an image of a Hitler Jugend model. The harmonica appears to have 10 single holes. The harmonica has engraving on the top with the swastika and the words "Hitler Jugend". The words are engraved on a silver metal plate that has scalloped edges and is screwed in with a tiny screw on either side. The metal plate is screwed onto a brown and black stained wooden comb. The harmonica showed that the company was in support of Hitler therefore showing that the culture was impacted.
