Tang Dynasty
Carp were called Li which was also the name of the emporers family, so fishing and other activities including this fish were not allowed. Which made avid fisherman and other fish activities look for other kind of fish. -
Sung Dynasty
Collective fish fry. People in India also set up fishing reserves.
