The First Great Awakening starts a new religious revival. This changes the United States social and cultural stand points. -

Americans dressed as Indians dump gallons of Tea into Boston Harbor. This was a major protest to British taxes on American goods. -

The Civil War ends with Robert Lee's surrender at Appromatex. This frees all slaves and joins the Union as one again.
