End of French and Indian War

A battle fought in the early stages of the Revolutionary War between British troops and Colonists. Although the British were victorious, they suffered heavy casualties, proving a colonial militia was capable of standing a chance against the British military. -

The first engagements of the American Revolutionary War, where a Colonial militia forced British forces to retreat to Boston. -
Treaty of Alliance
A defensive treaty between France and the US ensuring that both would aid each other if a fight were to break out with British Forces. -
Articles of Confederation
The original American constitution, written by the First Continental Congress, which was later supplanted by the US Constitution of 1789. -
Treaty of Paris
A treaty signed by representatives of Britain and America which ended the Revolutionary War and defined the boundaries of the British Empire and the United States.
