Stamp Act
The Stamp act was a tax put directly on colonists by the British government. It taxed all paper products: legal documents, newspapers, playing cards, ect. This tax was put in place to help pay for Britans war debt from the seven years war. -
Boston massacre
British soldiers stationed in Boston open fired into a croup of colonists killing five men. Tensions were high between the two and on this day a crowd had gathered in the commons, throwing snowballs at the British. The British fired. -

The intolerable acts were law places by British parliament in response to the Boston tea. The five acts places onto the Americas were: The Boston Port Act, Massachusetts Government Act, Administration Justice Act, Quartering Act, and Quebec Act. -

The continental congress was a meeting of delegates of the thirteen colonies. They met to talk about resistance of the intolerable acts. They had two questions: What are our rights, and How should we defend them? -

Treaty of Paris
this treaty was negotiated by Great Britain and the United States. It ended the French and Indian war. French gave up all land to North America. This treaty ended boundaries in america and allowed westward expansion.
