    Because the colonists were lacking canadian support they decided to attack at fort ticonderoga in attempts to stop Brittish from invading New England. Ticonderoga was optimal for attack because it was a strategic military point, and was lightly gaurded. Ethan Allen and the Green Mountain boys siezed fort ticonderoga under a surprise attack with no gunfire.

    The colonist militia men had been stocking guns and gunpoweder to defend themselves against the brittish which was considered treason. Therefore, Brittish went to sieze these weaponry and gunpowder. However, paul revere notified the minute men that the Brittish were coming and were readily waiting for the brittish by the next morning. At lexington colonists were defeated and Brittish pushed forward to sieze weapons at concord but the colonists had already hid them and successfully fought back.

For the first two attacks colonists held their own and Brittain suffered mass casualty but then they ran out of ammunnition and began enduring heavy fire and retreated to cambodia.
