Adam Cooper decides that it is time for him to leave childhood and enter manhood; therefore, he signs the muster book allowing him to fight against the British. -
The British head to Concord.
The British head to Concord after Lexington in search of Colonist weapons. -
While in battle, Adam goes to hide behind a tree and falls asleep.
Adam flees from the battle on the dirt road and hides behind a tree after shooting at the British. He was so exhausted that he fell asleep. -

The British set a few buildings in Lexington on fire, and the colonists think that all of their families are dead. -
Adam is able to go home.
Adam finally is able to return to his family and let them know he is alive. -
Adam takes candles to the church for his father's funeral.
