    In the late 1970's Xerox had devolped a mouse driven GUI that allowed easier use of computers. But no one at the time apart from Jobs and Woz could see the potentail. This later lead to the creation of the Lisa and after that the Macintosh the single most revolutionary computer ever.

    In the summer of 1983 the first computer to have a mouse driven GUI was launched. Apple had high hopes that soon died when they relised that there product was not selling enough to compensate for the production cost. Soon after this faliure the Lisa was axed from production and removed from sale.

    In 1984 Apple reliesed the Macintosh their second attempt at a mouse driven GUI computer. This initialy sold very well and was a very revolustionary computer. But as time went by sales fell due to high price and limited software. But sales improved after the launch of the first laser printer.

One move that surprised every one was when Steve Jobs and Bill Gates teamed up together. The partnership stopped when Jobs discovered that Gates had been working on a computer with a GUI inter face very similar to the one Jobs had employed. Jobs then accused Gates of stealing and Gates explained had they got there first.
