Each had their own vested interest in the outcome of the Treaty, American wished for Germany to be crippled but not enough for them to seek revenge against Europe. France wished for Germany to suffer, financially and geographically and to pay back all the damage that France had suffered. England backed up the others and lent towards global reace.
Also the 'Big Three' founded the Leauge of Nations. -

Appeasement Period
The appeasement period is a brief period between World War 1 and World War 2, it spanned nearly 20 years after the creation of the Treaty of Versailles and lasted right up until the start of WWII in 1939. It was also a point of economic struggle for the European powers, tis made Hitler’s initial attacks easy victories. -
Formation Of The Nazi Party
The Nazi Party, led by Adolf Hitler, started out as a group called the 'German Worker's Party', it promoted German nationalism and anti-sematism. The Party also felt that the terms of the Treaty of Versailles had been far to harsh on Germany and had left 'the motherland' in a state of disaray.
As a charasmatic and powerful speaker, HItler quickly rose to the position of public speaker, he attracted people through speaches which blamed Jews and Marxists for their problems. -
The Beer Hall Putsch
The Beer Hall Putsch was a failed coup by the Nazi party which lead to HItler being imprisioned and although it failed Hitler's imprisionment paved the way to his dictatorship. -
Wall Street Crash
The Wall Street Crash devestated America and their stockmarket. The main cause of the crash was the period known as the 'Roaring twenties', people would take out huge loans because it was a time of huge economic growth.
It made way for massive homelessness rates and unemployment. The Great Depression that was caused lasted for 10 years and affected most of the industrialised western countries. -
WW2 Begins
When the PM of Britain declarerd war on Germany, it sparked a global conflict which lasted for 6 years.
