DATE OF BIRTH
Antonio Reyes born on July, the 26 of 1976. He born in Chiclana de la Frontera, Cádiz in a family of Flamenco tradition, his maternal grandfather is Antonio Montoya and his uncle Roque Montoya "Jarrito" and he also has paternal kinship with José Cortés Jiménez, "Pansequito". -
FIRST CONCERT
He first took to a stage when he was 7 years old at the "Parpuja de Chiclana" party. -
JEREZ BULLRING
He performed in the bullring of Jerez, within Thursday "flamencos", organized by guitarist Manuel Morao. -
1st PRIZE
At the age of 10, the 1st Prize was won from Fuengirola, in the youth modality -
TRAVEL THROUGH U.S.A AND EUROPE
At the age of 13 he was a finalist in the Competition of Mairena del Alcor and traveled throughout the United States with the Company "Gitanos de Jerez" directed by Manuel Morao and then in Europe with the show "Misa Flamenca." -
TWO IMPORTANT PRIZES
From 2000 he consolidated himself as a professional with the prizes of the Memorial Camarón de la Isla and in the National Flamenco Art Competition. -
SECOND PRIZE
Second Prize of the Confederation of Peñas Flamencas de Andalucía -
ANTONIO MAIRENA AWARD
Antonio Mairena award, with Siguirillas and Tonas. -
MANOLO CARACOL AWARD
Manolo Caracol Award of the National Flamenco Art Competition of Córdoba, with soleares and bulerías. -
