Gaudi was charged with the construction of the "Basilica i Temeple Expiatori de la Sagrada Familia. Translated into English it means, "Basilica and Expiatory Church of the Holy Family." -
Life Treatening Illness
Gaudi always suffered from rheumatism which causes problems in the joints but in 1894 he suffered much more than normal. -
