    Anne's real name is Anne Marbury and she was born in Lincolnshire, England. She is the daughter of an Anglican clergyman named Francis Marbury. Her father then taught her as she grew up to question authority.

    She marries a guy by the name of William Hutchinson and together they became followers of an Anglican minister John Cotton. John Cotton was a New England Puritan leader and Anne Hutchinson stood by his remarks. She also later became a mother of 11 kids.

    Once she settled in Boston she became a herbalist. She held weekly meetings that gathered 60-80 people who all shared one thing and that was that they all were against the Puritan minister's view.

Also she stood by this which was kind of a big deal cause she was specifically showing that she was against any and all of the Puritan ways.

    When her husband died in 1641 and she moved to the Dutch colony of New Amsterdam (current day New York City) in 1642. Then the Hutchinson family got caught in a conflict between the Dutch colony and the local Siwanoy Native Americans. This caused Anne and her family to be killed later on by some Siwanoy warriors.
