The Great Adventure of Horus, Prince of the Sun

Is an anime film released in July 1968. The directorial feature film debut of Isao Takahata, it is also the first major film by Hayao Miyazaki. Horus marked the beginning of a partnership that would last for the next 50 years across numerous animation studios.

Tezuka Productions

is a Japanese animation studio founded by Osamu Tezuka in 1968. It is a full member of The Association of Japanese Animations. The company is known for being the official producer of the Astro Boy anime and manga since 1968, which since its founding has been the representative image of the company to this day.12 It is based in Takadanobaba, Shinjuku, Tokyo.
