This timelinewill be about the major events in the book Animal Farm. -
Old Major calls a meeting in the barn.
"It had been agreed that they should all meet in the big barn as soon as Mr.Jones wassafely out of the way."Old Major calls a meeting in the barn to tell the animals about his dream and about geeting rid of man. This speech will incourage the animals to rebel against Jones.

Beasts of England
"I am old and my voice is hoarse, but when I have taught you the tune, you can sing it better for yourself. It is called Beasts Of England." Beasts of England is a song that Old Major passes on to the animals. The animals are inspired by the song and that's what sparked the rebellion.

Old Major dies.
"Three nights later Old Major died peacefully in his sleep." Old Major dies three nights after he told his speech. Old Major was a hero to the animals and now he is gone. The animals were lost for awhile. Napoleon took over when Old Major died. Napoleon was the new leader, and some of the animals didn't like that.

Mr.Jones gets kicked out. (Rebellion)
"Meanwhile the animals had chased Jones and his men out on to the road and slammed the five-barred gate behind them." The animals got so mad because Jones had forgot to feed them again, they couldn't take it any longer so they attacked and animal farm was free.

Make Commandments.
"The commandments were written on the tarred wall in great white letters that could be read thirty yards away."They wrote the commandments to keep the farm in order and from distruction. It made the animals feel safe and free, like they were in controll. Pg.43 -
Battle of the Cowshed.
"Jones and all his men, with half a dozen others from Foxwood and Pinchfield, had entered the five-barred gate and were coming up the carttrack that led to the farm." Jones came back trying to get the farm back but the animals won and Jones was kicked out forever so animal farm was truley theres.

Snowball Escapes.
"They dashed straight for Snowball, who only sprang from his place just in time to escape their snapping jaws.' Snowball was chased out because Napoleon disagreed with him. All the animals agreed with Snowball and Napoleon didn't like that so he made the dogs chase him away and Snowball was never seen again.Pg.67 -
Animals get murdered.
"Immediately the dogs bounded forward, seized four of the pigs by the ear and dragged them, squealing with pain and terror, to Napoleon's feet." Napoleon starts to make animals confess to communicating with Snowball and he kills the animals who have been. The other animals are all scared for their own lives and they slowly walked away from Napoleon..Pg.92 -
Beasts of England banned
"He announced that, by a special decree of Comrade Napoleon, Beasts of England had been abolished. From now onwards it was forbidden to sing it." Squealer said that the Beasts of England was a song about the rebellion, and the rebellion was over. The animals wanted to sing that song because it reminded them of when it was good on the farm.

Battle of the Windmill/ Boxer getting taken away
"There were fifteen men, with half a dozen guns between them, but this time they did not have the easy victory that they had in the Battle of the Cowshed." Frederick and his men attacked Animal Farm. Boxer was hurt and had to be sent away and never seen again. Benjamin was more depressed than ever because Boxer was one of his few friends.

Pigs playing cards with the humans.
"The creatures outside looked from pig to man, man to pig, and from pig to man again; but already it was impossible to say which is which." The pigs were so into rebelling against man, they became man themselves and the animals were more scared then ever.
