While Napoleon won some of the debates through canvassing some supporters, Snowball usually won through his exceptional speeches, much similar to the struggles between Trotsky and Stalin. -

Napoleon chased away Snowball with his police dogs. Trotsky was deported around this time in the russian revolution. -

The Windmill is now under progress under Napoleon's orders. This represents the industrial boom in Russia. -

The hens were cut off from food when they protested that Napoleon is being too hard on the animals. A similar protest happened in Russia in 1932 -

Animals put on trial and killed by Napoleon after suspicion of them being unloyal. The Great Purge killed millions of people, many of them being in the military. -
Deal between Animal Farm and Fredrickson
The pigs make a trade with Fredrickson to get money for wood, but Fredrickson scammed Napoleon. Hitler signed a non-aggresion pact that he broke soon after in this time period. -
Battle of Windmill
The trade was a scam! The animals had supplies taken from them, which followed by another invasion of Animal Farm. Hitler tricked Russia into not attacking them. He then invaded Russia on 1941, which is WWII. -
Treaty with Pilkington
A treaty with Pilkington was made to be allies and engage with trade. This caused the animals to notice that they were no better off with Jones. The treaty to divide Germany on August 2nd, 1945 matches with this event
