Angelina lived in New York City for the majority of her childhood, however, at the age 11, she moved to Los Angeles, California and enrolled in Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film for two years. Later on, Jolie joined the Beverly Hills High school, still continuing her acting career by acting in theatre productions, starring on music videos, and modeling. -
Major Role
In 1995 Angelina Jolie got her first-ever major role in the movie "Hackers" portraying the role "Kate Libby." The film didn't get the attention it deserved, and so Angelina Jolie was still failed to be recognized. -

In 1995 Angelina Jolie met her first husband Jonny Lee Miller on the set of her first-ever film "Hackers." Later on, in 1996 both actors got married, Angelina Jolie being 21 and Jonny Lee Miller being 24. Although in 1999 the young actors got divorced due to things not working out between them. -

After her unrecognized role in the movie "Hackers" (1995), Angelina Jolie finally became a recognized actress due to her role "Cornelia Wallace" in the movie "George Wallace." During the filming of Pushing Tin, Jolie met her second husband Billy Bob Thornton. The following year both actors got married, but sadly got divorced in 2003 due to unknown reasons however there are rumors that Thornton wasn't happy with Jolie's adoption to her son Maddox. -

Breaking point
In 2013, Angelina Jolie announced that she will be having a preventive double mastectomy due to discovering mutations in her BRCA1 genes. This mutation increases the odds of her developing breast or ovarian cancer. Angelina Jolie was very happy with her decision and was very thankful for the support she got from her fans. -
Wedding Bells...
After 9 years of dating and having 6 kids, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt finally got married on August 23, 2014. The couple had a small wedding in a family's estate in the French village of Correns with all their children, and they were one big happy family! -
Divorce... Again
