Early life
Andy attende catholic school. When Andy was in preschool his teacher was a big influence on his creativity, beacuase of the way Andy dressed and music he lisnted to he was a target for bullying. If you ever listen to a song called knives and pens by BVB, he reenacted his bulling experience in the music video, this was peformed by his band called Black Veil Brides, BVB for short. -
Making Music
When Andy was 14 he and a couple friends thought up the band Biersack. They only played one show but they did not know that this would turn out to be something as big as BVB in the future. -
BVB Albums
BVB's first album was called 'We Stitch These Wounds' it was released on July 20 2010 and solid over 10,000 copies it's first week.The album made number 36 on billboard top 200 and first on the billboard independent chart.Second album 'Set the World on Fire' was released on June 14 2011.Third album 'Wretched and Divine:The Story of the Wild Ones' was released on January 8 2013.Fourth album is a self-titled album. stage injuries
Andys most noticeable injure was when he jumped of a 30ft. (9.1m) pillar on June 8 2011. During his fall he hit his ribcage, skull and knee. Another one of his injuries was when he broke his noes on the drum riser, yet 2 days later he still tried to performe, he performed with BVB at London with the injure. That injure happend at Luxembourg in the UK. -
Andys Acting career
After he moved to LA, Andy tried acting for a little while and was in a AT&T commercial 'Confetti'. Andy also had a 30 second spot in Montana Meth commercial"Jumped". Andy also gust stars in the funny or die web series. He also stared in a Black Veil Brides movie called 'Legion of the Black'. That was realsed on January 6 2013 to help support thier third album 'Wretched and Divine: The Story of the Wild Ones'. -
Solo Caree
In 2014 Andy started a solo project under the moniker Andy Black. Andy said that he wanted to have a different sound than BVB, Andy said that the can't make that sound with the band. Just because he is doing a solo project does not mean that he is going to stop BVB. His first song was titled They Don't Need to Understand
