Indian Removal Act passed. Indian autonomous nations in south forced to relocate. Conditions horrible during relocation./ Further disgrace and suffering for Native Americans. -
Nullification Crisis
South Carolina declared recent tariffs unconstitutional, disregarded inside state borders/helped propel state towards seceding from Union, used Nullification as catalyst. -
Bank War
Jackson considers bank a monopoly, begins to move to effectively destroy it. Finally prevents any funds being deposited/helped drive country to the idea of Populism (emphasizes the common people, encourages change).
