The Indian Removal Act
The Indian Removal Act was passed by Congress on May 28, 1830, during the presidency of Andrew Jackson. The law authorized the president to move the natives to federal territory west of the Mississippi River in exchange for their ancestral homelands. Thus called the Trail of tears. -
Worchester v. Georgia
Worchester sided with the Natives and sued Georgia for moving them off their land. -
The Bank War
It was the battle with Andrew Jackson and the National Bank. Jackson hated the bank and ended up destroying it with a veto.
