The Election of 1828
The Election of 1828 came down to Andrew Jackson and John Quincy Adams. For both of the candidates each side accused each other for wrong doing rather than it being political. Adams was accused of using public funds to purchase gambling devices even though it was not true. Andrew Jackson was accused of murder and him and his wife was accused of adultery. In the end Andrew Jackson won the election. -
