The Election of 1824 was the election when John Quincy Adams became president. This was the first time the winner of the most popular votes (Andrew Jackson) did not win the election. John Quincy Adams was chosen by the House of Representative to become president. This was accused to be a corrupt baragin between John Quincy Adams and Henry Clay. -

Worcester v. Georgia
The Cherokee Indians believed that they were their own nation, so they didn't want to move out of Georgia. They went to supreme court about this. This was the Worcester v. Georgia case. This ended with Georgia not having the rights to interfere with the cherokee. President Jackson apposed this. -

The Bank War was the name given to the campaign begun by President Jackson to destroy the Second Bank of the United States. He decided to do this because his reelection convinced him that his opposition to the bank had won him support from the nation. -

Nullification Crisis
A crisis during the presidency of Andrew Jackson, which involved South Carolina and the Federal Government. South Carolina declared the the tariffs of 1828 and 1832 were unconstitutional and so they said they would secede from the United States, if the tariffs weren't removed.
