    Andrew Jackson was born in the Waxhaws region near South and North Carolina, however, the exact place is unkown. His parents were Andrew and Elizabeth Jackson, although, his father died just 3 weeks before his birth.

    Jackson's enlists in Revolutionary Army
    Jackson had a lot of experience out in the battle fields. At age 13, he entered the Revoutionary War and became a prisoner for the British. However, as the years went by, he became the General for the War of 1812 and the Commander in Chief as he was elected for President of the U.S. and helped win many victories for this country.

    This battle was fought during the War of 1812. U.S. soldiers and Native American allies defeated the RedSticks who diagreed on the expansion of the United States of America. General Andrew Jackson led his team to victory.

    This was a battle fought between Americans and the British. The War of 1812 had ended before this battle occured, but news was slow to reach the port of New Orleans. U.S. soldiers, British soldiers, pirates, brave citizens, and Native Americans were all a part of this battle. Soon, after four days, Americans had saved the shores from being blockaded and gained a huge victory from the British. This was also the final battle of the War of 1812.

    John Quincy Adams had won this election because of a "corrupt bargain" as Andrew Jackson proclaimed. Henry Clay had all of his supporters vote for Adams, only if he let him be in his Cabinet; therefore, Adams won and Henry Clay became his Secretary of State.

    The Election of 1828 was a presidential election between Andrew Jackson and John Quincy Adams. Jackson's victory led him to become the President of the United States after word spread about Adam's last sabotaged election.

    This issue was over rechartering the Second Bank of the United States. President Jackson didn't want to give authorization to the bank and vetoed a bill that was passed by Congress to charter the bank.

    This act was paased by Congress allowing President Jackson to negotiate with Native tribes to move west of the Mississippi River, in exchange for their homelands. Some Indians were able to move peacfully, but others woudln't leave without a fight.

    Worcester filed a case that claimed that his family was being forced out of his land and did not have the right to do so. He took this case to the Supreme Court and Jury, John Marshall, agreed with Worcester, becuase the state was denying his 14th amendment and that the situation was unconstitutional.

    States were angry at Jackson because he wanted a protective tariff and many states didn't want to pay the tax. Especially towards South Carolina, and the Southern states becuase they didn't have as good of an economy as the Northern states.
