    A battle between the Creek Inidans and American Settlers with an army of Tennessee Militia led by then Major General Andrew Jackson. In this battle the Militiamen surrounded the Creeks, who then anhiliaited the Crreks and won the battle, protecting a part of the frontier in the process.

    Even though the Treaty between Britan and the United States was signed on December 24th, 1814, the news was slow to travel to New Orleans. Not knowing this iformation, Andrew Jackson led an army to fight against a british force that was trying to take new orleans. The battle was won by Jackson, causing a rout of British troops. This was the last battle of the American War of 1812.

    Nulllifcation Crisis

    Where South Carlonia Threatened to suceede if the Tarrifs weren't lowered and said the tarriffs didn't apply to the citzens of the state. President Jackson was furious, and sent the Army to quell the so called "uprising". This ended with the comprimise of 1833, which lowered the tariff.
