    In the election of 1824 Andrew Jackson faced up against John Quincy Adams, and won the popular vote that year. But, the votes that matter,the electoral votes, he didn't win, so John Quincy Adams took office in 1824. This events impact was that Jackson was liked by the people, but not by congress.

    This time Jackson won both the electoral vote and the popular vote. So, Jackson took office in 1829. This was the start of the Jackson era.

    Andrew Jackson always wanted to make the people happy, so when the people wnted the indians gone so did Jackson. In 1830 Jackson passed the Indian Removal Act to force all the indians east of the Mississippi river. This lead to the trail of tears and thousands of indians deaths.

    After the Indian Removal Act was passed the Indians were furious and refused to leave, so the indians decided to challenge georgia in a supreme court case. In the end the Indians won ,but Jackson wouldn't have it and vetoed Supreme court's decision.

    In 1832 Jackson decided to veto the federal bank and had many supporters for if. So he eventually beat the bank and its president Nicholas Biddle. It's impact was the panic of 1837 which was one of Americas worst economy crisis ever.
