Election of 1824
The Election of 1824 was between four candidates. The four men were Andrew Jackson, William Clay, John Quincy Adams, and William Crawford. Henry Clay and John Quincy Adams were both members f the Whig Party. While William Crawford and Andrew Jackson were members of the democrat party. Later in the election it was only between John Quincy Adams, and Andrew Jackson. When neither of the two members techinally won it went to the house of representitives. In the end Adams won the presidency. -

In the bank war, Jackson wanted to remove the national bank because he felt that it had way to much power. Eventually the charter for the Renewal of the bank came around and Jackson vetoed it. Just like that the National bank was shut down.
