Archilochus was a poet who wrote more personal stories. He was a traveler and a soldier. He was one of the first to write about his personal life. -

After the wars of the 5th century BCE, historians began to write about the past, trying to understand why the wars started and how the people changed because of the wars. -

Homer
Homer collected stories about a king named King Odysseus. -

Burning of the Library
The library of Alexandria was burned down in an attack by a Greek emperor. Because of this, we don't know how many books were in the library or what they were about. More than 40,000 works of Greek philosophy, literature, history, and science were burnt.
