Hatshepsut
Hatshepsut came to the throne of Egypt in 1478 BC. Officially, she ruled jointly with Thutmose III, who had ascended to the throne the previous year as a child of about two years old. Hatshepsut was the chief wife of Thutmose II, Thutmose III’s father. -

He built some minor monuments and initiated at least two minor campaigns but did little else during his rule and was probably strongly influenced by his wife, Hatshepsut. His reign is generally dated from 1493 to 1479 BC. -

Persians Conquer Egyptians
It must have been clear that the Persians would soon move against Egypt. Pharaoh Ahmose II of the 26th Dynasty, who had based his rule on a renewed sense of Egyptian nationalism, hired Greek mercenaries to prepare for the upcoming invasion, but he died before the fighting began. Ahmose was succeeded by his son Psamtik III, but his reign would be very short-lived. -
