    Miles (age 18) wants to move in with his girlfriend and work instead of going to college. He comes from a Mexican family and his parents are very disappointed of this mentality In Erikson’s fifth stage, intimacy versus identity confusion The crisis is between his capacity and goals align within his Hispanic culture and customs and traditions from the U.S.
  • Miles- Middle adulthood

    Miles- Middle adulthood
    Miles (age 29) and Ashley married because they want to spend the rest of their lives together and share and accomplish each other's goals. In Erikson’s sixth stage, intimacy versus isolation The crisis would be in Miles doesn't want to feel vulnerable by nor sharing his goals with Ashley, resulting in isolation and failure to keep his marriage
