Battle of Kings Mountain
This battle was fought on the border of North and South Carolina. After the British and Loyalist surrendered around 1,000 troops the Americans still shot or hanged them. They did this in revenge of the raids that the Loyalist preformed in which the British "Butchered Americans."

When the Americans came in the were firing lots of cannons. They trapped Cornwallis in making him surrender around 8,000 troops. This was the last major battle of the American Revolution. The French helped the Americans in this battle.
