French and Indian war
War between France and Britain, because of the disputed Ohio Valley. (Ended 1763 -

In protest against the tea act a couple of colonist board British ships and dump all the tea crate into the harbor. -
Intolerable Acts
British ships blocked the harbor from supply ships in an attempt to starve out the colonists. (Ended 1774) -

A British general won a small victory over the American forces 7 days before, then while waiting for reinforcements decided to attack the milia again but failed and was forced to surrender. -

A particularly harsh winter at valley forge were 11,000 men of the army stayed, many died from diseases and other hazards. -
Battle of Yorktown
Last major battle of the war when French and American forces won this battle then there was a negotiation for an end to the revolutionary war. -

A treaty between representatives from Great Britain and America signed in Paris, this Ended the revolutionary war.
