  • french & Indian War

    french & Indian War
    France and Britain were fighting for control of the Ohio River Valley in North America. Great Britain end up winning, but they go into massive debt. To pay for this off, they started to heavily tax the colonists. This creates the first bit of tension between the colonists and the crown.
  • Boston Massacre

    Boston Massacre
    On King Street, Boston, the Custom House. A street fight occured between the American colonists and the British soldiers. As the rebellious Bostonians were afraid of bloodshed, they pled the British soldiers to withhold their fire. An alleged proclaim said "fire", triggered a soldier to shoot fire within the crowd, resulting a few injuries and the lost lives of five colonists.
  • Battle of Lexington & Concord

    Battle of Lexington & Concord
    The British marched in Lexington & Concord. Patriot spies spills out Gage's plan about the British on their way to Concord. One of the British soldier shot fired thus sparked the Revolutionary War. The British gets ambushed from all sides by the colonists and ambitiously retreat to Boston.

    Battle of Bunkerhill
    The tactical victory for British. Although, resulting devastating casualites twice as much as the Americans. Somewhere during the war- the despised British officer Maj. John Pitcairn was killed. For he was the one who ordered his men to shoot fire on the patriots during the battle of Lexington and Concord.
  • Declaration of Independence

    Declaration of Independence
    It was the movement of the unified 13 colonies to help separate from the British political enforcements. As it was also approved by the Continental Congress;
    1. God made all men equal and gave them the rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
    2. The main business of government is to protect these rights.
    3. If a government tries to withhold these rights, the people are free to revolt and to set up a new government.
  • Battle of Saratoga

    The turning point within the Rev. War. As the Americans were winning. Ending the attempt of British general John Burgoyne exerted dominance over Hudson River Valley. This has persuaded the Court of King Louis XVI to compact an alliance between America & France.
  • Valley Forge

    Valley Forge
    First winter encampment where thousands of men had to create their huts. Consisting of the Continental Army guided by General George Washington within the Rev. War. It was a defensible plateau where the American army would train and regather from current battles and harsh environments.
  • Battle of Yorktown

    Battle of Yorktown
    The collasped of the British war efforts. As outnumber and outfought lasting through the three weeks of ongoing fire. As the French armies approached the battle from their headquarters of New York City. Surprised the British, causing a turning victory to the Americans.
  • Treaty of Paris

    Treaty of Paris
    Signed between the U.S. and British Repesentatives lead to an end of the Revolutionary War. This also established peace between the Great Britain, allied nations; France, Spain and the Netherlands.
