French & Indian War
The French and Indian War (1754–1763) was a Seven Years' War, which the North American colonies of the British Empire fought against those of the French. Both sides were supported by various Native American tribes. -
Stamp Act of 1765
The act required the colonists to pay a tax represented by a stamp on various forms of papers, documents, and playing cards. It was a tax put in lace by the British government without the approval of the colonial governors and was payable in hard-to-obtain British sterling, rather than their own, colonial currency.

On March 5, 1770, a crowd confronted eight British soldiers in the streets of the city. As the mob insulted and threatened them, the soldiers fired their muskets at the colonists, killing five of them. -

It was the worst American defeat on their soil and left the British in temporary control of the southern colonies. Treaty of Paris
It was signed in Paris. It ended the Revolutionary war. -
