Battle of Bunker Hill
The battle that took place between the colonists and British on Bunker Hill. The colonists had the advantage of the hill, and forced the British to retreat several times. However, the colonists ran out of ammunition, and lost. The British suffered many more casualties. Battle of Trenton
The Battle of Trenton took place between the British and colonists at Trenton, New Jersey. General George Washington led his troops over the Delaware River, and surprised the Hussian troops there, winning a huge victory. Battle of Princeton
The battle that took place between the British and colonists. The colonists surprised the British, by leaving their campfires going, and muffling the wagon wheels. This led the British to believe that the colonists were still at camp, but they met the British on the way, beating the British 40 deaths to 275 deaths. This battle took place between the British and the Colonial army. The Americans won this battle, convincing the French to become allies with them, to counter the Hessians. The continental army stayed at Valley Forge, while the British occupied Philadelphia. The army suffered from a shortage of food, supplies, clothing, and spirits. War in the South / Charleston

Battle of Yorktown
This was the last battle of the American Revolution. The Americans and French surrounded the British forts, closed in, and fired. General Cornwallis was forced to surrender. This was an asymmetrical battle. The Americans won the Revolutionary War.
