French and Indian War
The French and Indian War was between the French/Indian and the British. This war put them in great debt which led to taxing the colonists which made the colonist angry. -
Proclamation Of 1763
The British told the colonist that they could not expand West of the Appalachian Mountains. Which also angered the colonists because they won the land and the British said they couldn't use it. -
Stamp Act
This act placed taxes on all paper goods. Which led to rebellions and the Stamp Act Congress. -
Sons and Daughters of Liberty
They refused to buy anything the British put a tax on. Instead they used violence, intimidations and made their own things. -
Stamp Act Congress
When the government made the Stamp Act the colonist felt like they didn't have a say in it. So, they had a meeting trying to get representatives into Parliament to repeal the Stamp Act.
