    The Boston Tea Party was, in general terms, the begining of the Revolutionary War. Patriots and Native Americans alike decided to protest the Tea Act, wich put a huge tax on not just tea, it included glass, lead, oil, paint, and paper.

    Lexington & Concord
    Lexington & Concord was the first full battle of the war. Patriot troops were marching into Lexington, Massichusits, when the met with a british army. No one knows who fired the first shot, but it is still known as "the shot heard around the world". The patriot troops were forced to retreat, as 49 of their partners and friends lied dead, and 39 wounded.

    The Battle of Bunker Hill, which was actually fought on Breeds Hill, was a turning point in the revolutionary war. We fought This battle on Breed's Hill with very inexperienced men, primarily milita. Though we lost this battle, it gave our men a major confidence boost.

    This Battle took place in/around New York. The town of New York was attacked and invaded by the British. They killed patriots fighters on the spot. New York was huge for the British because New york still had loyalists and was a great Habor town. Patriots faught back, but had to flee due to the amount of soulders.

    This was a (considered by the British) small battle between General Washington's forces and British forces near Princeton New Jersey. Most troops tried to flee to Cornwallis. This was the last major battle in Washington's New Jersey campaign.

    This was a huge turning point in the Revolutionary War for the Patriots. They lost to General Burgoyne, but the British suffered a ton and had to retreat. They later were forcedd to surrender. This caused the French to join the Patriots.

  • Arrive at Valley Forge

    Valley froge was a camp for General Washington and his army. Conditions were harsh and food was at a minimum. The desiese small pox started passing through the camp. Over 1/5 of the soilders had shoes.
  • Leave Valley Forge

    By the time the men left, they had traind hard with a Russian Baron, Friedrich Von Steuben. They had gained bayonetas and new tactics. They were starting to look like an actual army.
  • Start of the Battle of Yorktown

    This battle was considered the end of the Revolutionary war. The battle took place outside of Yorktown, Virginia. At the end of it all, General Cornwallis had to surrender, but he was a poor sport and tried to give his sword to the French General, who looked at him desgustedly, and pointed at General Washington. He had his second in comand to give him the sword, and Washington retearned the disrespect. This was the end of the war. Few, tiny battles were fought after this.
