Started the Revolutionary war. Historians call it the "Shot heard around the world". -
Battle of Bunker Hill
British won. Gave us a huge confidence boost. -
Battle of Long Island
The British won the war and the British forces capture New York City and Long Island from the continental Army. -
Battle of Trenton
The Hessian commander, Colonel Rall, was fatally wounded during the battle and died later that day. The Hessian's were warned of an imminent attack but had let their guard down on the night of the battle believing the cold and icy weather conditions would make an attack impossible. -

Biggest Battle in the Revolutionary War. British won. -

The treaty that officialy ended the war. Granted the colonists more land in the west. Gave them freedom and the title of a free country
