French and Indian War
England and France were fighting land land in the New World. During the French and Indian War the French were allies with the Indians which helped them fighting in the war. The English had the help of the colonist which led them to winning the war which cost them a lot of money which later led to the American Revolution. -

After the French and Indian War England was in debt and needed to make money so they put taxes on the colonist and made them follow new rules. The colonist did not like the new taxes and laws so they protest. One the colonist were protesting and getting in the faces of the British soldiers and 1 of the British soldier fired there gun which led to 5 civilians dead and 6 injured. -

England kept putting taxes on the colonist which made them furious. One day England put taxes on tea which back then that was a favorite drink. The colonist were furious at England. One night on December 16,1773 the colonist dressed up as Indians and boarded an English boat full of tea and dumped all the tea into the harbor. -

George Washington was the leader of the colonist. He was a trained leader who had experience in the French and Indian War which led the colonist to victory. -

The colonist where tired of England enforcing rules on them. The colonist were getting in the British soldiers faces and it isn't clear who shot the first shot called "Around the World". The colonist were forced to retreat and run into Boston. -

The Battle of Bunker Hill was the first major battle of the American Revolution. The British won the battle even though they had to retreat 2 times. This battle was important because it proved that the colonist could fight. -

To me the most important event of the American Revolution is the Declaration of Independence because is was to King George III to declare the colonies independence from England.
