A group of Colonists dressed up as Indians and threw tea into the Boston Harbor because British refused to return the tea back to England. -
Intolerable Acts
It was issued in response of the Boston Tea Party. It consited of the quartering of troops act, it put Gage a Governor of Massachusetts, suspended the Massachusetts Charter, and it closed the Boston Harbor. -

It was the first military ingagements of the war and it was where "the shot heard round the world" was at. -
Battle of Bunker Hill
The Colonist go inteligence that the British were going to control the hills surrounding Boston so they occupied Breed's Hill which is where this battle took place. -
Olive Branch Petition
It was adopted by the Continental Congress to prevent a full blown war with Britain. It ensured American loyalty to Great Britain and asked the King to prevent further onflict. -

This book presented the idea the America should fight for freedom from Britain when independence was still undecided. -

It is a document signed by representatives from the thirteen colonies that said they were independent states from Great Britain. -

This siege was to prevent movement by the British troops and to keep them in Boston. -

George Washington attacks the German mercinaries, Hessians, while they were asleep. This victory boost the morale of the Colonists. -

The British General Burgoyne attacks the Colonists through Canada but fails to meet up with General Howe and cut off the Colonists from the South. (ends October 19, 1777) -

General Howe barely defeats George Washington here. This battle is Washington's first offensive battle. -
