    Lexington and Concord

    British soldiers, under the leadership of General Gage, were looking to seize weapons from a farm in Concord. They were successfully thwarted by militia outside of Lexington and attacked during their retreat to Boston.

    Fort Ticonderoga

    Benedict Arnold and Ethan Allen, alongside the Green Mountain Boys of Vermont, surprise an attack on the British gave them much needed artillery and their first win.

    Bunker (Breed's)Hill

    The first all-out battle of the Revolutionary War. Patriots abandoned hill top but British had many Casulties. Patriots were led by William Prescott and the British led by William Howe.

    Trenton/ Princeton (NJ Campaign)

    George Washington defeated Hessiam mercenaries then lured the British south defeated them at night capturing Princeton.

    Saratoga (Bemis Heights, the second battle)

    On September 19th British General Burgoyne led the British for a small victory over American forces led by Harrio Gates and Benidict Arnold. The British then came back and was defeated by the Americans. French recognized this and joined as ally.

    Siege of Charlestown

    Americans worst defeat in the war so far, Major General Benjamin Lincoln surrendered to Brtish Lieutenant General Sir Henry Clinton. A ton of patriots were captured and supply's were restocked for the British.

    King' Mountain

    The Patriots led by Colonel William Crambel defeated the Loyaist led by Patrick Ferguson. Crambel aligned his men on the hill called King's mountain and charged the hillside many times killing Ferguson.

    Yorktown

    General George Washington led 17,000 French and Patriots troops against British General Lord Charles Cornwallis. Washington surrounds British and after days of fighting makes Cornwallis surrender. Ended fighting of the war.
