    The Colonists won the Battle of Concord And lost the battle of lexington. The Battles were fought in Middlesex county.The signifance of the battle is that a ragtag team defeated 700 british soldiers and boosts their confidence for the upcoming battles.
  • Battle Bunker Hill

    The British defeated the Americans. The Colonial team inflicted many casualties against the British. The battle gave them a important confidence boost. Most of the fighting occurred near Breeds Hill.
  • Battle of Long Island

    On august 27,1776 the British army successfully moved against the American Continental army.The battle was part of a British campaign to seize control of New York. Washington's defeat could have led to surrender of the entire force but his ingenuity allowed him to escape.

  • Battle of Fort Ticonderoga

    Fort Ticonderoga is located on Lake Champlain in Northeastern New York. It served as a key point to Canada and the Hudson River Valley during the french and Indian war. On May 10 1775 Benedict Arnold joined Ethan Allen and the Green Mountain Boys in Vermont of the dawn attack of the fort. It was the first american victory of the Revolutionary war.

    In South Carolina during the Revolutionary war American troops under Brigadier General Daniel Morgan. They routed British forces which were under lieutenant Colonel Banastre Tarleton. The American inflicted heavy casualties on the British.
  • Battle of Yorktown

    The Battle of Yorktown ended on October 19, 1781. General George Washington commanded a force of 17,000 troops including French and Continental troops. He commanded 5,000 troops to block Cornwallis escape. While the French blocked the British by sea.
