The British won. Th British badly outnumbered the colonists. This battle was one of the only ones in the South and was a huge turning point for the South. -
Yorktown
The Patriots won. There were 14,000 Americans and French against 8,000 British. Almost all of the British were captured. Cornwallis, a British officer, surrendered to Washington. This was the last major battle of the American Revolution.
