    Ethan Allen ane Benedict Arnold defeated the British. The Patriots won the battle.

  • Bunker Hill

    The Partriots ran out of ammunition and had to surender. A famous quote of the battle is "Don't shoot until you can the whites of their eyes'. This was a victory for the British.

    The Battle started on August 27th 1776 and ended on the 29th. The British wanted to seize control of Newyork and isolate New England from the colonies. The British won the battle of Long Island.

    Partiots surounded Bergoyne ( a British troop) and he later surendered. That was a victory for the Patriots.

    After this battle the Fench recognized the colonists cause and deided to join them is battle. Saratoga started on October seventh and ended on the 17th.of October. This was a win for th Patriots.

    General Daniel Morgan of the Americans led the colonists to a win at the battle of Cowpens. This battle to place in the south around th Carolina area.

  • Yorktown

    This battle also took place on October 19. This was the last major battle of the American Revolution. The Partiots won this war with the leadership of George Washington.
