This was a turning point for the colonists. They had trapped one british group and they surrendered on October 17. This is when the French decided to help the Americans -
Cowpens
Greene split his armay into 2 sections. One section defeated the British at Cowpens. Colonist Victory. -
Yorktown
The last major battle of the American Revolution. 14,000 Americans and French were againist 8,000 British and Hessians, then won.
