The Battle of Quebec
It happened in Quebec City, which is the Province of Quebec. It began when Benedict Arnold, Montgomery and their troops went to Quebec City and demanded them to surrender. The governor rejected their demand, and during the snowfall, they went in for the battle. However, the British were more then ready and Montgomery was killed in first assault. Eventually Arnold and all his men were forced to retreat. -

It occurred in Oriskany, New York when an American party was trying to relieve the siege of Fort Stanwix was ambushed by a party of Loyalists and allies of several American Indian tribes. The Loyalist and Indian force ambushed Herkimer's force in a small valley. Many were injured and the outcome remains ambiguous. -

Washington and his troops devised a complex battle plan to hit the British with a surprise attack, but his plan failed and the British drove away George Washington and his army. -

This battle took place in Saratoga County, New York. It happened when John Burgoyne and his British army attempted another attack after the first Saratoga attempt against the American army. Gates told Burgoyne not to but he ordered his army anyway. When they attacked, Arnold and his troops fought back, and forced the British to retreat back to Saratoga, and the British surrendered ten days later. -

The Capture of Savannah
The capture of Savannah took place in Savannah, Georgia when Archibald Campbell and his British troops surprise attacked the American forces that were defending Savannah, Georgia at the time. The American forces were not prepared and outnumbered. American General, Robert Howe, ordered the city to evacuate and withdrew his army, but the British cut them off, and killed several men. This battle took place at the Guilford Courthouse in North Carolina. It occurred when the American soldiers snuck up on Cornwallis and his army. They went from behind the courthouse to try and catch the British off guard. The battle went on for two hours and the Americans retreated. However for the British, more than 25 percent of there army was killed. -
The Battle of Eutaw Springs
This battle happened near present day Eutawville in South Carolina when Nathaniel Greene and his army attacked the British soldiers in the early morning. The Americans had a significant amount of more soldiers then the British. The British troops set up in a stone house, so then the American army took over the British camp, eating some of their untouched breakfast. When British came out they both battled in the sun for hours and ended up both retreating in the end
