Stamp Act
This was caused by the British who taxed just about every paper. The people of the colonies were not impressed with the law. The stamp act was one of the main causes for the American revolution. It's a Asymmetrical relationship because the colonist didn't have a say on the tax. -

Boston Tea Party
The Boston Tea party was a protest against the taxation on tea. The men of Liberty and Sam Adams boarded a ship and threw over 342 barrels of tea. This was a major mishap and just brought them closer to war. This is asymmetrical the reasoning is the British didn't know the Patriots were going to dump the tea they thought they were going to protest and try to stop the taxation, by doing this it brought them closer to war. -
Lexington / Concord
[Tension had grown between the colonist and the British. The Lexington and Concord war was many of the first wars to set off the American Revolution. The British tried to capture Sam Adams and John Hancock in lexington,but at concord they'd ruin the Americans stores full of weapons and Ammunition (http://www.ducksters.com/history/battle_of_lexington_and_concord.php) This war was Symmetrical because not only did they capture Sam Adams and John Hancock but the men got away and warned there people. -

Common Sense
The man who published Common Sense is known by the name Thomas Paine. There was two different side the patriots and loyalist. Many people agreed with the idea "American Independence". But also there was people who though "Freedom is Property". This is symmetrical because Thomas Paine was trying for everyones freedom not for his whether people agreed with him or not. -
Declaration of Independence
This started during the Revolutionary War. The reasoning is because of the Americans trying to claim themselves as the British's Subjects. So the Americans were fighting for all of the independence from Britain. This is a Symmetrical war because both sides had the right to sign the Declaration of Independence stating that nor who they are everyone deserves to have a free way of speech . -
Battle at Trenton/Princeton
The American victory was a very important time in the American Revolution . Many of the British men thought they had killed General George Washington. During this war Washington withdrew his men back across the river into Trenton. Asymmetrical because Washington withdrew his men but Colonel Rahl had a suprise of Hessians waiting to attack. -

After the Saratoga battle the British men thought to cut southern colonies off of the rest. Many of the British men thought they would find Loyalist in the South. They thought these men would help them destroy the patriots of those Colonies. In this the Americans were defeated This war is Asymmetrical because the loyalist of the region helped the British destroy there land, and divide it from the rest. -
