It was a street fight between a mob of patriots and a couple British soldiers. This Battle was Important because it got the Americans mad and more loyalist joined the Patriots.

Battle of Lexington and Concord
In the Battle of Lexington and Concord the British attack because they wanted the Americans gun powder that was placed in Concord but failed because word got out of there plan. This Battle was Important because it was one of the few battles Americans won during this time, also it was the first battle between the minutemen and the British troops.

Battle at Brandywine
Battle of Brandywine was an attempt by the Americans so the British couldn't reach Philadelphia. It was important because the British won this battle and gained control of Philadelphia which was the Americans capital at that point of time.

British defeat at Saratoga
The British were lacking supplies so they were forced to surrendered 5,700 troops. It was important because this was a turning point in the Revolutionary War because it convinced France to join the Americans.

Siege of Charleston
The Americans southern army lead by Gates made many tactical errors. This Battle was Important because the Americans lost all of there supplies and most of there southern army.

Battle of Cowpens
At this Battle the Americans made the British suffer many casualties. It was important because the Americans gained South Carolina back so the colonies weren't split.
