Stamp Act
The Stamp Act was meant for the British troops to be helped during the seven years of war. During this act, the colonists of the United States were required to pay a tax which was represented by a stamp. Which was applied to forms of paper, documents, and cards. This act was proposed by the Britain government. Those who didn't approve of the act would be prosecuted in court. -
Townshend Acts
This act was meant to help the British by governing American colonies by taxing glass, lead, paint, paper, and tea. This act angered the colonists because of the higher rate of pay for British goods. Because of new taxes increasing, the American colonies decided to stop purchasing and discouraged British goods. -

The American colonists defined war on British authority to gain their independence, even if it had to require a lengthy amount of wartime. British had marched onto Lexington and Concord to possibly seize weapons of the colonists (The American colonies), later then leading to a threat to the colonists. By April 18, 1775, the British had alarmed the colonists about war. Later eventually, the American colonists gained their independence from Britain. -

The battle of Yorktown which was in Britain ended up being in engagement with the American Revolution. Britain negotiators were being in consideration of the thought of independence towards the U.S; Because George Washington and his French army were frustrated, they marched to Britain to claim their independence. They did not plan to stop the war until free. Later, the British troops surrendered to the Continental Army to their allies. -

The treaty was meant to end the American Revolution and for peace to be brought between the two nations. Although, the treaty was signed and ratified leaving the two nations resolved and independent from Britain. The French Revolution was formed.
