During this act, the colonists of the United States were required to pay a tax which was represented by a stamp. Which was applied to forms of paper, documents, and cards. This act was proposed by the Britain government. Those who didn't approve of the act would be prosecuted in court.

By April 18, 1775, the British had alarmed the colonists about war. Later eventually, the American colonists gained their independence from Britain.

Although, the treaty was signed and ratified leaving the two nations resolved and independent from Britain. The French Revolution was formed.
