Stamp Act
[Stamp Act(http://www.history.com/topics/american-revolution/stamp-act)] This was when the British Parliament passed a law that allowed taxes to be on any piece of paper with a stamp on it. And if there was no stamp on any of the pieces of paper you owned you could be arrested. This act was asymmetrical because the Patriots responded in a way the Britsh did not expect them. -
Boston Massacre

This event was when the Patriots responded by throwing tea from the West India Company into the water. They also dressed up as Mohawk Indians. This event was asymmetrical because the British did not see this coming or happening.
