French and Indian war
The French and Indian war (Seven years war) was a conflict between Britain and France (with Indian help) which was fought over land in the America. The war ended after 7 years with Britain winning and taking a lot of land from France.

The Townshend acts of 1767 are a group of taxes established on the colonies by the British. The taxes were established because of the British's debt from the French and Indian war. -
Boston massacre
The Boston massacre was a killing of American colonist in which five were killed and six were wounded. The killing had started because of a mod of colonist who were attacking a British soldier who called for reinforcements which shot the colonist.

The Boston tea party was a event which a group of Patriots threw tea off of a British tea ships. The Patriots dressed up as Mohawk Indians and threw 342 chests of tea off the British ships.

Intolerable Acts
The Intolerable act were a set of act which were made to punish the American colonist for rebelling against the British rule. The act included the Boston port bill, Massachusetts Government Act, Administration of Justice Act, Quartering Act, and Quebec Act.

The battles of Lexington and concord where the battles that kicked off the American revolution. The battle started with 700 British vs 77 Americans but later 2000 American militiamen joined the battle resulting in a American victory.

The First Continental Congress was a meeting between delegates from all colonies except Georgia. During the the meetings they discussed what they were going to do about the intolerable acts; they later choose that they were going to boycott the acts.

Common sense is a pamphlet made by Thomas Paine which talks about the British rule. It goes over the how the British rule isn't intended by god, and how the American colonist should fight back against the British.

The Declaration of Independence is a document in which the American colonist declare their independence from Britain. The declaration Talked about why the colonist were seeking independence and why they didn't want to deal with the British oppression.

Battle of Yorktown
The Battle of Yorktown was one of the most important fights in the American revolution which hinted at the British losing the war. The battle was won by the Americans after a three week siege of Yorktown which ended in British surrender.

The 3/5 compromise is a agreement by the northern and southern states on how slaves would be counted in the population. The compromise states that for every 5 slaves 3 of them with count in the population.

The great compromise
The great compromise (Connecticut compromise) was a voting system that was created to fix the issue between small states and big states. The system has to different votes with one of them have the amount of votes you get based of population and the other being a set nonchanging amount of votes.

Bill of rights adopted
The bill of rights was a set of rights which the government made to limit oppression of the individual. The bill of rights included the first ten amendments with 17 more added later.
