The Battles of Lexington and Concord were the first military engagements of the American Revolutionary War. Nearly 700 Bristish soldiers under the lead of Lieutenant Colonel Francis Smith, were given top sercret orders to capture and destroy any and all military supplies that were stored by the Massachusetts militia at Concord. -

Fort Ticonderoga

Benedict Arnold
He began the war fighting in the Continental Army and later defected the British Army. While a general for the Continental Army, he was the commander of the forts at West Point and New York. Later he plotted to surrender it to the British forces, making him a trader to the USA. -
Articles of Confederation
This agreement was made with all 13 founding states of the United States of America as a "confederation of sovereign states" and served as its first constitution. The first copy by the Continental Congress began in mid 1776 and finally approved by congress in 1777. -
Valley Forge

The Treaty of Paris
Signed on September 3, 1783, this treaty ended the American Revolutionary War between Great Britain. Also it acting as a common band between the thirteen colonies. The treaty also stated which countries were allowed to allies with the newly formed United States of America.
